The publisher first announced in May 2025 that the title would be removed from the App Store and Google Play, just over a year after its original launch in March 2024. Although the game was delisted, players who had already downloaded it were still able to play, as the servers remained online.
That will soon change. Activision has now stated that the servers for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will go offline on April 17, 2026. After that date, the game will no longer be playable.
In its official statement, the company said this marks the final step in the previously announced service changes. Until the shutdown, players can continue accessing the game and its existing content.
Activision also thanked the community and development team for their support, noting that player feedback continues to influence the future of the broader Call of Duty franchise. The publisher added that it plans to keep delivering seasonal updates and new content for Call of Duty: Mobile.

When the delisting was first revealed last year, Activision explained that the mobile version of Warzone had not resonated with mobile-first players as strongly as it had with PC and console audiences. While the company expressed pride in bringing an authentic Warzone experience to mobile devices, it admitted the project ultimately fell short of expectations.
At the time, Activision acknowledged the disappointment among fans and offered special incentives in Call of Duty: Mobile, encouraging players to transition to the free-to-play title.
