Arc Raiders faces matchmaking issues as embark Studios Works on a fix

Embark Studios is aware of the ongoing matchmaking problems currently being encountered in Arc Raiders, and they have confirmed their awareness of these issues and are actively working on a solution.

Community Manager (CM) Julia “Ossen” has released several updates regarding issues with Arc Raiders matchmaking on the game’s official Discord channel, where CM Julia stated they are aware some players are having issues with matchmaking and are investigating.

At this time it is unclear what the issue is causing players to experience longer wait times, but some players report that their wait times have been from two to three minutes up to ten minutes, and there are times that games will begin with players missing from the games altogether.

Although the inability to match quickly is not a game-breaking issue, it does cause frustrations for the player base that the team has marketed Arc Raiders as a game with fast and reliable matchmaking since it was released in late October. Many players report that they can improve their waiting times by using the re-queue button, but this only adds to an overall less than acceptable experience for most players.

Embark Studios is committed to making improvements on these issues and expects to resolve the matchmaking issues shortly.
