At The Game Awards in December 2025, Archetype announced that they have released a new trailer and that this trailer was for their upcoming sci-fi based RolePlaying Game (RPG) titled ‘Exodus’. This RPG is being developed by a team made up of ex-BioWare developers and has Drew Karpyshyn (who worked on both Mass Effect games) as its lead writer. The developers describe it as a large scale Star-RPG where you get to choose who you want to be and what you are willing to do – and also to have very real consequences to those choices.
Set 16,000 light years from Earth (which is now uninhabitable), Exodus will tell the story of Jun Aslan, a scrap collector from Lidon, a moon in the Omega Centauri system. When a machine virus threatens human life on Lidon, Jun must use the powers he awakened from being part of an ancient race called the Travelers to save his home. There is time dilation (time passes differently in space) in Exodus as well, so the story of Exodus spans many generations. As of now, the official release date for Exodus is still set for 2027.
