A brand-new Springfield Island has arrived in Fortnite, offering what Epic Games describes as a “fast-paced, back-to-basics Battle Royale experience” for up to 80 players.
The update introduces a Springfield Battle Pass, featuring rewards like premium skins for Homer, Marge, Flanders, Blinky Fishstick, and Springfielder Peely. Epic promises new Simpsons-themed content every week, including gameplay additions, shop items, and more.
To celebrate the launch, four original The Simpsons shorts—co-produced by Grace Films and Epic Games—will debut on Disney+, Fortnite’s social channels, and the in-game Quests tab on November 1, 10, 17, and 24.
Players who link their Epic and Disney accounts before February 28, 2026, will also receive Kang and Kodos’ spaceship glider as a reward.
Springfield Island features several iconic locations, including:
- The Simpsons’ house
- Moe’s Tavern
- Kwik-E-Mart
- Krusty Burger
- The Android’s Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop
- Springfield Nuclear Power Plant
- Burns Manor
Meanwhile, Lego Fortnite will host a Simpsons-themed BrickLife event, with Krusty Burger facing off against the game’s Durrr Burger.
The crossover also introduces Sidekicks — companion pets that join players across Battle Royale, Lego Fortnite, and other modes. The first, Peels the banana dog, is available through the Springfield Battle Pass, while Bonesy, Spike, and Lil’ Raptor arrive in the Fortnite Shop on November 7.
In addition, Rocket League players can take on Simpsons-themed challenges to unlock the Blinky Topper, Homer’s Hedges Player Banner, and Waste Wheels, plus the option to purchase Homer’s Car from the in-game shop.
