Czech studio Warhorse continues to expand Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Following the release of Brushes with Death and the upcoming Legacy of the Forge in September, players can look forward to a third major expansion — Mysteria Ecclesiae, first details of which were revealed at gamescom 2025.
According to the developers, the story of the new DLC takes place in a monastery struck by a deadly epidemic, jokingly referred to as a “medieval COVID.” The main character, Henry, will explore a new location while confronting themes of alchemy, medicine, and 16th-century perceptions of disease.
In terms of scale, Mysteria Ecclesiae will be on par with Legacy of the Forge, set to release on September 9. The expansion itself is expected to arrive this winter.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
