CD Projekt Red has revealed a surprising collaboration between Cyberpunk 2077 and the tactical extraction shooter Arena Breakout: Infinite, developed by MoreFun Studios, a subsidiary of Tencent.
The first teaser appeared on July 20 in a short video showing an armored vehicle arriving in Night City, with a soldier stepping out wearing the iconic Samurai jacket from Cyberpunk. This strongly hints at new in-game cosmetics inspired by Cyberpunk 2077 coming to Arena Breakout: Infinite.
While an exact launch date hasn’t been announced yet, the developers confirmed that the crossover is coming “very soon.” Players can expect themed items, gear, or even limited-time modes—similar to Cyberpunk’s previous collaborations with other major games.
The event aligns with major updates in both games. Cyberpunk 2077 recently released version 2.3, adding new vehicles, an improved taxi system, and an autodrive mode. At the same time, Arena Breakout: Infinite launched its second season, introducing a new boss, fresh weapons, in-raid item storage, and a squad ping system.
This crossover blends the neon-lit world of Night City with the intense gameplay of an extraction shooter. Whether fans see it as a perfect match or an unexpected mix, one thing is clear: “Welcome to Night City, Operators!” is just the beginning.
