During the Future Games Show: Summer Showcase 2025, THQ Nordic and Grimlore Games unveiled a brand-new gameplay trailer for Titan Quest II — an isometric action-RPG that directly continues the legacy of the legendary 2006 title.
According to Balint Marczin, the game’s lead systems designer, the team aims to provide players with maximum freedom in character development. As in the original game, players will be able to combine abilities from two independent classes. For example, a sword-wielder can learn ice magic, while an archer might harness the power of nature or even defend with a shield.
This hybrid system, the developers say, allows for a wide variety of unique playstyles and greatly enhances replayability — a vital aspect for any RPG.
The team also confirmed that early access to Titan Quest II will be available on Steam very soon, with full releases for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S to follow.
