Danish team Astralis fell to Team Spirit in the grand final of PGL Astana 2025, with a final score of 1:3. Spirit confidently claimed victories on Dust2 (13:5) and Nuke (13:10), while Astralis responded with a win on Mirage (13:5). However, they couldn’t force a decider, narrowly losing on Train — 13:16.
Team Spirit earned $200,000 for their first-place finish, while Astralis took home $93,700 for second place.
The MVP of the tournament was once again donk, who delivered an impressive 1.5 rating across 15 maps. This marks his second MVP award of the year, having previously earned the title at BLAST Bounty Spring 2025.
PGL Astana 2025 was held from May 10 to 18 as a LAN event in Astana, Kazakhstan, featuring 16 teams competing for a $1.25 million prize pool.
