Reburn Studio, founded by former developers of the Metro series, has announced the release date for its debut first-person shooter, La Quimera. The game is set to launch on April 25, 2025, for PC, and is already available to wishlist on Steam. The price is set at $29.99.
La Quimera takes place in the fictional city of Nuevo Caracas, where players step into the role of a mercenary caught in the chaos between powerful corporations, militant factions, and supernatural forces. The game features both a single-player campaign and co-op gameplay for up to three players.

According to the developers, the shooter includes exo-suit mechanics inspired by Crysis, offering abilities like electric shocks, enemy scanning, and enhanced movement such as high jumps. A gameplay trailer is already available, showcasing fast-paced combat across urban and jungle environments.
A beta test is scheduled to start on April 12 at 5:00 PM (Kyiv time) and will run for 24 hours. Participants will be able to try out a story mission from the middle of the game. Interested players can sign up via the game’s Steam page.
While there has been some confusion about the branding, Reburn is a separate studio, not affiliated with 4A Games, though it was founded by former 4A developers. Meanwhile, 4A Games continues work on the next entry in the Metro series.
