Fnatic acquired Ukrainian AWPer Dmytro “Jambo” Semera from Passion UA, replacing Denys “Burmylov” Buraha, who was benched.
According to HLTV, the transfer fee could have been $600,000, the same amount G2 Esports paid for Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov in 2022. The club did not officially disclose financial details, but Fnatic CEO Sam Mathews stated that Jambo’s transfer set a new record for the organization.
Insider Aleksei “OverDrive” Biryukov expressed doubts about the reported fee, suggesting that with such a budget, Fnatic could have built a more competitive roster.
The revamped lineup made its debut at Galaxy Battle 2025 STARTER, where Fnatic defeated 9INE 2-1. At the time of the transfer, the team was ranked 33rd in the HLTV rankings.
