ZywOo surpasses s1mple in MVP awards with ESL Pro League S21 victory

French esports player Matthieu “ZywOo” Herbaut has claimed his 22nd MVP award, becoming the most valuable player of ESL Pro League Season 21. This achievement allowed him to surpass Ukrainian player Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, who holds 21 MVP awards.

In the ESL Pro League Season 21 Grand Final, Team Vitality, led by ZywOo, secured a dominant 3-0 victory over MOUZ, controlling the maps Dust2, Nuke, and Inferno. ZywOo finished the tournament with a 1.43 rating, an average damage per round of 90.0, and a kill-to-death ratio of 1.63.

After setting a new record, ZywOo stated that he has no intention of stopping and will continue striving for even better results.

Thus, ZywOo has become the player with the most MVP awards in Counter-Strike history, surpassing s1mple and other legendary players like Nicolai “device” Reedtz, who has 19 MVP awards.
