Valve releases patch 7.38b for Dota 2 alongside new Dota Plus season and treasure

On the evening of March 4, Valve rolled out patch 7.38b for Dota 2, launching a new Dota Plus season and introducing a fresh treasure to the game.

This marks the first major update for Dota Plus in 272 days—the last update was back on June 5, 2024, which only included changes related to the “Fallen Crown” event without any new treasure.

With this update, players can unlock a new Dota Plus treasure, featuring exclusive sets for Earthshaker, Viper, Kunkka, Enigma, Phantom Assassin, Arc Warden, Axe, Abaddon, and Leshrac.

As for patch 7.38b, it brought a number of adjustments, including changes to items (both regular and neutral), hero balance, as well as tweaks to Tormentors and the map itself.

This update aims to refresh gameplay and provide new customization options, marking a significant content drop for Dota 2 players as the competitive season progresses.
