Fallout star claims that Season 2 “surpasses the first one”

Fallout

Walton Goggins, who plays the Ghoul in the Fallout adaptation, shared his thoughts on the second season during an interview with Deadline.

“We’re in the middle of filming it right now,” Goggins said. “We’ve been at it since November, and I can tell you that I thought season 1 was extraordinary. Personally, I was very pleased with it.”

The actor went on to say that the second season will be even better: “This blows it out of the water. What these writers have done and the artisans who came together to tell this story is just incredible. It’s really going to be something special, and I can’t wait for people to see it. We’re working very hard to make that happen.”

The first season of Fallout, released last April, received a 94% score on Rotten Tomatoes, with an audience score of 90%. It debuted as one of Prime Video’s top three most-watched shows and earned 16 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series.

According to the official description, Fallout is based on the legendary video game series:
“It’s a story of haves and have-nots in a world where there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle residents of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated wasteland their ancestors left behind—only to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent world awaiting them.”
