Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski made a bold prediction: Amazon will either shut down or sell Twitch within two years, possibly even sooner. Despite Twitch’s position as the largest streaming platform, the service shows signs of being a “zombie brand,” according to analysts. While Twitch brings in two billion dollars in revenue, it reportedly remains unprofitable, raising fears of potential mass layoffs.

Since Amazon acquired Twitch in 2014, several competitors, including Facebook Gaming, Mixer, and WASD, attempted to challenge the leader, but most failed to gain significant traction. Now, platforms like KICK, YouTube, VK Play Live, goodgame, and Rumble continue to strive for a share of the market currently dominated by Twitch.
