CI Games has shared fresh information about the development of Lords of the Fallen 2, currently in production at Hexworks. The game is scheduled for release on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC in 2026. In June, CI Games signed an exclusive deal with Epic Games for worldwide distribution on the PC platform.
In a recent financial report, CI Games confirmed that the game will be officially revealed in 2025, with the release planned for the following year. Lords of the Fallen 2, built on Unreal Engine 5, will feature new additions, including expanded game modes, a more commercial art style, elevated production standards, and full co-op with shared progression alongside the single-player campaign.
The first Lords of the Fallen was released in October 2023 as a reboot of the original game from 2014. Set 1,000 years after the original, players take on the role of Dark Crusaders on a mission to overthrow the demon god Adyr. The game received mixed reviews, scoring 70 (PS5), 75 (PC), and 77 (Xbox Series X/S) on Metacritic, but achieved significant success with 1 million copies sold in the first 10 days.
