The sniper for G2 Esports, Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, has reported feeling unwell just before the start of the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 for CS 2. His team is set to face FaZe Clan in their first match.

The tournament begins with the group stage, where Group A includes teams like NAVI, Team Falcons, G2, and FaZe Clan. Group B will feature Team Vitality, Astralis, Team Spirit, and Team Liquid.
Ahead of the tournament, a scandal erupted regarding an emergency player substitution for Astralis. Initially, organizers allowed the team to bypass regulations and add a new player, but later requested further clarification. This situation sparked protests among other teams, including Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski, Dan “apEX” Madeskler, and Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer, who boycotted the media day.
The BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 is taking place from September 25 to 29 in Copenhagen, where the world’s top eight teams are competing for a prize pool of $425,000.
