Substitute player for NAVI’s CS 2 team, Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev, has announced his upcoming trip to China. He shared this news on his Telegram channel.
Kostylev did not specify the exact dates of his trip but mentioned that he consulted with someone named Sania about the journey. Fans speculated that he was referring to blogger Alexander Zubarev, who lives in China.
“Soon, I will fly to China, whether to please the fans or not… Today, I asked Sania for advice since I haven’t been to Shanghai for a long time. It seems like everything will be okay,” s1mple wrote.
Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev was moved to NAVI’s substitute roster in October 2023. In May 2024, he shared his plans to return to the professional scene. The esports player aimed to find a new team during the summer break but was unsuccessful. NAVI’s coach, Andrey “B1ad3” Gorodenskiy, advised Kostylev to start training and competing in the tier-3 scene to regain his form and prepare for new challenges.
