A player from the LEC league has been fined €2,000 for exploiting a bug during an official match

Player from SK Gaming‘s League of Legends roster, Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer, has been fined over €2,000 for exploiting the Neeko bug during a match against Team BDS in the LEC Spring Split.

Nisqy utilized the widespread Neeko bug, allowing players to easily gather information about opponents by targeting their clone. LEC referees paused the match upon discovering the bug’s usage, but quickly resumed play as it was determined that it didn’t provide the player with an unfair advantage.

However, the player has been penalized by Riot for exploiting the bug during the match.
